Planet Systems was started by Kevin Medcalf in the Cape Town area, with one thing in mind – as our Tagline says “Service Out of this World”.

Wanting to be a customer centric company, dedicated to offering clients the best possible security products for their individual needs, backed up by exceptional service from companies like Planet Automation, the business set about delivering on its tagline.

With over 30 years in the security industry, in various capacities ranging from the owner of Astron Systems and Automation, to a Branch Manager at ADT Security Western Cape, Kevin was well placed to offer clients a holistic security package.

The orisec range of alarm panels is perfect from the smallest installation through to industrial systems. Like all modern devices, you can control and manage the system from an APP on your smart phone.

Orisec is manufactured in the UK to the highest standard and are response to installation companies requests for change.

The R&D team is constantly looking at ways to improve the installer and user experience.

Paradox Alarms

Since 1989, Paradox have been driven to deliver revolutionary products. Paradox started in the motion detector market with patents still used in today’s products.

In 1996, Digiplex series of security systems was introduced.

In 2001, they introduced an extensive range of wireless systems.

In 2007, they revamped and shifted many products to new platforms, including the MG, SP and EVO series.

Over the past few years, they have shifted their focus towards software development.
